Revolver

1. a handgun having a revolving  chambered cylinder for holding a number of cartridges
2. a person or thing that revolves.

Inspired by Rondo form and the Beatles’ album of the same name, Revolver is a concerto for saxophone and wind ensemble in four movements, played without pause. Revolver was commissioned by the University of Mississippi Wind Ensemble to honor the retirement of Dr. Wade Irvin and lasts 18 minutes.
